- Photosensitising medications (retinoids, tetracyclines) - at least 6 months prior to treatment.
- Herbs (St. John's wort, calendula, pansy, field horsetail - stop using 2 weeks before treatment).
- Iron supplementation, vitamins. A.
- Active skin diseases (e.g. psoriasis, lichen).
- Active skin infection (e.g. herpes, impetigo).
- Vitiligo (minimum of one year since the appearance of the last lesions).
- Use of steroids (cream or tablets).
- Ingestion or a period of 6 months after stopping taking Accutane.
- Blood clotting disorders - use of drugs that reduce blood clotting.
- Epilepsy.
- Cancer.
- Pacemaker.
- Hormonal and endocrine diseases such as polycystic ovary syndrome or diabetes.
- Viral infections: HIV, HEPATITIS.
- Active autoimmune diseases (e.g. systemic lupus, scleroderma).
- Alcohol consumption (24 hours before treatment).
